Sushi meet-up

For once, I attended a meet-up with girls from the Finnish community. We had a little photosession in a local park and headed for a sushi place. Unfortunately the wind was freezing limbs and killing buns and curls. Very deceptive weather. Also, poor sushi restaurant got plenty of inquiries about their tea brewing... I didn't have my monster of a camera with me, so limited pictures. I apologize.

I decided to take out the dress I traded in Hellocon. I went with pretty classic, simple coord since I had to drag the outfit with my the day before. It's the same dress as my brown IW JSK, but in wine. Super light and versatile, I love it.
Dress and blouse IW, others same old offbrand.

Lovely girls, I had fun! Picture isn't mine, no stealing.

I'll do Hellocon part 2 soonish when I have more time.

Cleaning day and the zoo!

I haven't actually had the time for really dressing up on lolita for a while. I have a paper to write that has me locked up inside =(. But spring has finally more or less arrived in Finland so I had a cleaning day and celebrated after with some casual dress up. I bought the skirt from Hellocon as a kind of last minute impulse. I really love the colour and embroidery in general. Also, this is a piece from the year I first started lolita, I remember seeing the series in a Bible back then, so it also has some sentimental value. I'm also wearing a bracelet bought from Hellocon, but you can't really see it. Please ignore the collar ;_;

Skirt: IW
Blouse: Pretty-Pretty clothing
Bracelet: Talking to myself
Hair roses H&M, necklace second hand, shoes Dinsko.

To make this somewhat more interesting, I took a day off to meet with my friend and visit the Helsinki Zoo, Korkeasaari!. It seems early spring is optimal time to go there, most of the big cats were awake and I some animals I've never seen before all but paraded for us. There was also next to no other visitors to scare them away, so nice. Have some choice pics!

And then there was this little idiot:

Hellocon part 1

Yes, it's been forever since Hellocon, but I've been to upload photos and go through them and so on. Right now my world seems to pretty much consist of sleeping too little, school and being sick. I managed to catch the darn cold I though I avoided earlier. I'll post outfit pictures and the stuff I bought later.

Although my camera (skills) despise Gloria and the stage lights, I have bunch of photos from this years convention. I'm not going to put them all up here, just some choices with the album here. Yell if you want something taken off. I apologize for having so many shadow heads in the pictures, I don't like blocking the view to get my pictures too much. Thank you everyone for making the convention and the tea party such a great experience!

This year we had many foreign indie brands, which I absolutely love. This one is from Lady Sloth if my memory serves me right.

That hairdo! We also had Korean brand Baroque, but while I adore their style I didn't find anything suitable this time.

We had the designer and CEO of Atelier Pierrot as our special guest, here is two of their stunning pieces.

This year we had less fashion shows, but it really was quality over quantity! Here is few pictures of the "Fairy Forest" fashion show, I recommend you check it out in youtube.
